Why a Yoga Retreat?

 

WHY A YOGA RETREAT?

I believe that anyone who enjoys a lifestyle of health and wellness can greatly benefit from a yoga retreat. Here is why:

1. You’ll relax, de-stress and re-energize

Sometimes, the only way to allow ourselves to truly relax, is to be far away from home. Being on a retreat allows you to listen to your body, rest when you need it and be free from your everyday stress, while being away from your usual daily distractions.

2. You’ll take your yoga practice to the next level. 

 Practicing yoga regularly can be challenging if you have a busy schedule. Because you will typically practice twice a day on a yoga retreat, you will deeply get into your asana practice which ensures your progress and you will see the positive effects more quickly.

A yoga retreat is an experience beyond the ordinary. It offers you a chance to change your perspective and, by extension, your attitudes. You often change ordinary habits and all of the sudden you see your self, your potential and your life, in a whole new way. 5. You’ll “actually” meditate

It’s a lot easier to meditate when you have a professional guidance and besides an extended free time. On retreats, it feels a lot more natural to breathe deeply and be present in that very moment.

As most of the retreats are typically held away from hustle and bustle areas, you will be able to finally put down your phone and laptop and just take in the beautiful surrounding you are in. This is your chance to disconnect digitally and reconnect with yourself and nature.
